Regression Modelling Estimation of Marine Diesel Generator Fuel Consumption and Emissions

This study aims to estimate the fuel consumption of marine diesel generators onboard. Objective technical specifications and operational data on ship's power generating plants port calls were collected from an oceangoing oil/chemical tanker used develop mathematical model plant in Python MATLAB environment. The consists alternators, prime movers load distributions ship’s provides information metric tons calculated based hours operation specific data. Regression models have helped predict future for optimal dataset was identified by comparing four different algorithms. As results shown Ordinary Least Squares be optimum, it make one, five, ten-year predictions. predictions one-year, five-year, periods are 4,322,436, 10,684,860, 18,615,472 t respectively. selected predicts with R2 0.999, MAE 3.932, RMSE 2.935. Fuel facilitated emission calculation.
